Key Fob FAQ
Summary: Frequently Asked Questions about the new Key Fob System.

Key Fob FAQ

Q. How can I get the new Key Fob and is there a fee?

A. To receive your new new Key Fob, contact or visit the Management Office. Office hours are Monday through Friday from 9:00 am to 5:00 pm. There is no fee if you exchange your Entry Card for the Key Fob. If you do not have an Entry Card, a $50 deposit (paid by check) is required for each Key Fob.

Q: If I can't visit the Management Office during office hours or I am not a resident owner, how do I obtain my Key Fob?

A. Contact the Management Office and arrangements will be made for you to obtain your Key Fob.

Q: How many Key Fobs do I get?

A. Each Entry Card you have may be exchanged for a new Key Fob at no cost. If you do not have an Entry Card, a $50 deposit (paid by check) is required for each Key Fob or as inventory dictates.

Q: Why do I need to retain both the Entry Card and the Key Fob?

A. For a short time (approx. 2 weeks) both systems will be in use to accommodate residents who do not pick up the Key Fobs right away and because all of the system hardware has yet to be installed.

Q: Will the Key Fobs set off store alarms?

A. The new Key Fobs will not set off store alarm systems.

Q: When do I hand in my Entry Card?

A. Management will distribute a memo to all residents when the system is completely installed and when the Entry Cards may be returned to the Management Office.

Q. Will I be charged if I don't hand in my Entry Card?

A. You will only be charged if you do not return an Entry Card that has been switched out for a Key Fob.

Q. How do I replace my Key Fob if I lose it?

A. If lost, contact the Management Office and a new Key Fob will be furnished for $50.

Q. If I find my Key Fob after I paid for a replacement, will I get a refund for the new Fob?

A. Yes, you will receive a refund after you return the Key Fob.

Q. What is the procedure if my Key Fob stops working?

A. Bring the Key Fob to the Management Office if your Fob is malfunctioning.

Management would like to thank all residents for their patience during the implementation of the Key Fob system.
